THE CHALLENGE
Company– is a well known group in Building Material Industry . The group who ventured into the trade to timber and building materials, sensing the Urban and Rural needs for developing shelters to people of all income groups.– needed to develop a mobile app for their field sales team to plan their sales call visits, record sales activities, generate purchase orders, submit expenses and increase customer reach during their visits, track delivery status and compare targets with achievements for Secondary business sales team along with integration of their backend legacy SAP system.
Company had a mandate from the management to roll out the solution within a set time frame, and to address the issues experienced in the past when developing mobile apps i.e.

THE SOLUTION
FieldMI, enterprise mobility experts created a rollout strategy in agreement with the business and IT team to deploy the application on Android and iOS phones.
The platform was integrated with existing ERP system “SAP” to pull master information about customers & routes, products, visit plans, Stocks & Outstanding. The SalesMI mobile app was deployed on the platform, with contextual help to assist the sales force to record information, when on the field, which would then be pushed to SAP to provide critical business intelligence reports.
THE RESULTS
SalesMI mobile application was successfully rolled out to 100 field sales personnel within 4 months, including a round of testing and pilot run with select business users.
